How many GP commissioning consortia there will be and what their biggest challenge is

A GP investigation reveals exclusively on Thursday that the estimated number of GP consortia is ‘frighteningly similar’ to the original number of PCTs.

Last month the DoH announced the first 52 consortia and today an analysis by GP based on figures from eight of 10 SHAs suggests that there will be between 300 and 350 commissioning groups in England. See our map of GP pathfinder consortia here.
